CAUSEWAY Joint Staff Study.

為著攻打台灣，美軍下誠大的心神，詳細研究台灣的地形、天氣、城市、人口、產業等等，最後寫出數百頁的 JANIS 87 Joint Army-Navy Intelligence Study of Formosa（Taiwan），當作制定入侵計畫的根據，也是阮重要的參考資料。

台灣航空決戰：美日二次大戰中的第三者戰場 - 聚珍臺灣

影片內底有誠濟珍貴的二戰影像和文件檔案都是來自美國國家檔案館，另外特別感謝日本防衛省允准阮使用日軍部署的歷史文件。

諾曼第登陸的代號是海王星行動，是屬於大君主行動的一部份並毋是大君主行動本身。

美軍當時判斷只有淡水、新竹和東港較適合登陸，但是年久月深，各地海岸線的地形和狀態和斯當時已經有袂少變化，因此適合登陸的地點也有所改變。

美軍攻打台灣需要的人數佇各種條件之下，在無仝時間有無仝款的估算，影片以 6 月和 8 月的兩改估算為主。

當時美國的戰略是「先歐後亞」，In 設定講若歐洲戰事會當佇 1944 年 11 月結束，就會當調動兵力支援「鋪道行動」，但是實際上到 1945 年 5 月德軍才向盟軍投降，因此完全袂赴「鋪道行動」的時間。

沖繩戰役會予人講是「鉄の暴風」，除了兩軍激烈的戰鬥和密集的火力之外，也是形容戰爭當中日軍對沖繩人無人道的剝削和苦毒。
